Nicolas Learns To Walk (Developmental Delay)

During Nicolas’ birth, the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck. Right after being born, he had a weak birth cry. There were further complications in the days that followed, and emergency open heart surgery had to be performed on baby Nicolas at three weeks of age. Nicolas was later diagnosed with Developmental Delay.

Nicolas’ parents learned of the Doman Method when he was three years old. At the time, Nicolas was unable to move and had to be carried. He was below age-level in all other areas of his development, including a poor level of understanding.

His parents began with the Doman Method programs for Nicolas which consisted of recommended nutrition, respiration, physical and cognitive development plans. Parents have been executing the programs consistently and Nicolas has made many gains on his milestones.

With the help of the cognitive plan, Nicolas now reads books, and is above his peers in his understanding level.

His biggest win is that Nicolas is now able to walk under Glenn’s Ladder, which has been used to teach children with special needs, how to walk independently and correctly. Watch him walk in the video above.

We applaud Nicolas and his family for their hard work!
