Angels of Doman International
Group of “Angels” volunteer to make homemade books
A group of volunteers working at Cummins, Inc. have banded together to give their time to help kids with special needs. Together, they have already created 109 homemade books that meet the guidelines outlined by Doman International for a Reading Program.
We encourage parents to access and use the materials available through the link below:
Cummins Inc. is a fortune 500 company with over 50,000 employees globally. These volunteers come from their Africa and Middle East office and have launched a corporate responsibility initiative called Project “Angels of Doman International” aka Project ADI, in an effort to support parents on our program with ready-to-use reading materials on topics asked by our families.
Cummins Inc. announced this project publicly on their own website and many employees have donated their time for it despite being in lockdown during this period. The books have been read and downloaded across the USA, Canada, Denmark, Italy, Iraq, India, and many more countries worldwide.
The homemade books have enlarged print size, few words per page, and content tailor-suited to children on the Doman Method™ Program. They are written in six languages and have standardized levels (low/medium/high) to allow parents ease of use as well as making modifications.
Doman International’s staff and parents would like to thank Cummins Inc. and their wonderful employees for their generosity of time and spirit and for working to make the world a better place. The kids thank you as well!
