Temple Grandin

This is a biographical movie about Temple Grandin, one of the leading scientists in the field of agricultural industry for the humane treatment of cattle.

The movie is a real revelation! It talks about a girl who has been diagnosed with Autism. Her life story shows that diagnoses are not obstacles to the real rich mind, the great desire to learn, the ability to realize yourself and become a true professional in what you are possessed with in a good way.

Those who like this movie should also watch a recording of Temple Grandin’s speech “The World needs all kinds of mind“ at TED in 2010.

Like Stars on Earth

The movie is about an 8-year-old boy, Ishaan, who was diagnosed with Dyslexia. He has a truly vivid and hyperactive imagination but studying at school is difficult for him.

His poor academic performance force parents to send him to a boarding school. The only person who recognizes the path of Ishaan was his drawing teacher who believes that thinking outside the box is not a sentence and that success can be achieved not only in the exact sciences and reading.

The original title of the movie is “Taare Zameen Par“ in Hindi. Our Hindi-speaking Doman Parents can enjoy the movie in the original language!

The Theory of Everything

2014

It’s a melodramatic film based on Jane Hawking’s memoirs, “Traveling to Infinity: My life with Stephen.” This is a magical story about the life and scientific achievements of theoretical physicist, Stephen Hawking, and his wife, Jane. After the diagnosis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), the doctors gave Stephen only two years but contrary to the doctors' opinion, he was able to build a career and live a long extraordinary life thanks to his unique willpower. The film is a confirmation of Glenn Doman’s phrase:

Front of the Class

This is a drama movie based on Brad Cohen's book, “Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had”, co-authored by Lisa Wysock. The film tells the story of a 6-year-old boy, Brad who suffers from Tourette Syndrome. Growing up and building his life, Brad challenges all obstacles and problems and doesn’t betray his dream of becoming a great teacher. Even 24 failures or any labels cannot stop him.

Brad is a hero from whom we all need to learn courage and perseverance.

This is a movie that sings an ode to life!

Daniel is a recent university graduate with Down Syndrome. On his first day at work, he falls in love with a girl who leads an unusual lifestyle for him. She escapes from problems in clubs and bars.

It would seem that they have nothing in common, but they become friends, and their friendship ultimately leads their destinies down a happy path.
