Denis Can See and Excels in Every Way (Cortical Blindness)

Before starting on his Doman Method program, Denis came with a diagnosis of being blind. He was rigid in his body. He was so hypersensitive to sounds that it resulted in him waking several times during the night and left him crying for most of the day. He couldn’t eat very well and would throw up whatever he consumed.

After following the recommendations of the Doman Method for nutrition, respiration and physical development, his legs have now developed a normal tone, his arms are less rigid. Sounds no longer bother him, and he sleeps soundly through the night! For his gastric problems, a G-tube was the only thing that could have helped him prior to starting with his Doman Method programs. However, that has become unnecessary since Denis is now able to eat, and eats happily using a spoon!

Denis receives a robust Doman Method Cognitive Program every day. To date, he has seen over six hundred image cards, over a thousand reading words, and thirty-five homemade books. He also enjoys learning math.

His Doman Method Physical Program has Denis do five-ten sessions of the inclined floor every day. He also does an advanced-level physical plan in a gravity-friendly environment which teaches him to crawl on his belly. He can crawl almost 60 meters a day in this environment. He is more aware of his body and now makes careful, calculated movements to move forward.

At his most recent evaluation at Doman International, he demonstrated an understanding level at a 3 year old level, which is at his age-level, in two languages - Italian and Russian. His vision has improved and he can now see at a distance of 1.20 meters. Additionally, Denis has had no illness in the past eight month and is keeping in excellent health!
