4 Book Series About Outstanding People for Your Child’s Reading Program

For my first book review, I chose a series of books about famous, outstanding people! These books teach children about heroes from history spanning different eras, and give a large amount of information about the fields in which these great people were recognized.

Children learn about from historical figures from how they succeeded, persevered, and confronted difficulties. These stories help our children with special needs confront their own difficulties and obstacles and give them strength to persevere! Who knows, maybe they will choose one of these people as a personal hero and be inspired to follow in their path!

“What I Can Learn from the Incredible and Fantastic Life of…”

by Moppet Books

The series of books “What I Can Learn from the Incredible and Fantastic Life of…” by Moppet Books is a fascinating series of books about contemporary figures of our time. They talk about the strengths and secrets of success of Steve Jobs, Ingvar Kamprad, Phil Knight and Oprah Winfrey.

The format of the books is quite unusual. We don’t see just a list of events and dates from the biographies of these heroes. On the contrary, these books contain information on the elements that played a big role in the development of each of these figures and how they became who they are now. Parents might find these books interesting for themselves!

In the text, you can read about their most outstanding achievements, quotes and phrases, and a description of their life principles. The most important thing about this series is that each book contains a list of life lessons which could be beneficial to everyone. Each book inspires young readers and proves that dreams can become true regardless of circumstances and it’s important to never give up!
