1. what would test your courage?
Walking through a dark parking lot or coming across a bear on my hiking trail.
2. If you could acquire the ability of a superhero, what would you choose and how would you use it?
To be present in multiple places at once, or at least appear and disappear at will like using the port keys in Harry Potter.
3. Which of your parents was the main authority for you?
My mother has been my backbone.
4. What would you suggest everyone try to do?
Take some time to be alone out in nature with no cellphones.
5. What is the last gift you received?
A scarf from a dear friend.
6. What piece of advice would you give a stressed-out, exhausted parent?
Parenting is the most important job in the world. For some reason, we don't have schools to train for this career, no remuneration or recognition. Yet, here you are, mastering each day, leaving no stone unturned for the wellbeing of your child.
7. What's a myth that many people buy into that you don't accept?
I don't buy it when people place limitations saying, "Things will never change. That's how this world is." When we have a will and make efforts with a heart full of love and playfulness, anything is possible.
