I want to tell you about a person who gave hope and opened the way of life for the parents of children with brain damage.
Glenn Doman is an American physiotherapist. He was born in the city of Philadelphia (USA). In 1940 he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Since that moment , Doman has studied the development of the child’s brain. The main idea of Glenn Doman is: "Any child has a huge potential that can be developed, thereby giving him unlimited opportunities in life." During the World War II, Glenn Doman volunteered for the US Army next day after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was awarded by the Cross "For Outstanding Merit". At the end of the war, Glenn Doman returned to medical practice. Together with his team, he organized and began to work on the restoration of children with various brain injuries and severe damage to the nervous system. In 1955, Glen Doman founded the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential (IAHP), based on his methodology. He created a practical guide for parents who save their children with brain damage. Glen Doman, looked at the ordinary and saw a deep meaning. He looked at the floor, and did not see the floor, but the training ground for a developing baby. He did not put up with defeats; he defeated them, teaching their parents to follow the path of Life with their children, and not abandon children imprisoned in their own bodies.
The program created by him stimulates the development of the child’s nervous system in a complex. He learned more about children and how to make a patient healthy and healthy even healthier than any person. He and his team have gained vast experience for parents of children who need help not to get lost in this world. Glenn Doman believed that mother knows more about her child than anyone else. Glenn talked about it and felt it with his heart, he believed in parents. Parents are the solution to children's problems, while everyone believes that the problem is in children. He believed in the restoration of the brain of children and the main assistants are their parents. They can help their children better than any professionals.
I am glad that my parents help me to build my life according to the program of Glenn Doman. I am very lucky, it is interesting to learn and train my brain so that it can control my body with full power. The system created by Glenn Doman and his team has passed the test of time and practical use in the lives of children with brain damage and healthy children.
