Toshan learns to skate (Developmental Delay)
Toshan was diagnosed with developmental delay at 2 years of age. Parents learned about the Doman Method when Toshan was 6 years old. At the time, Toshan was below age level in all areas of his development. He also had difficulty regulating his behavior and was hyperactive.
Toshan’s mother started with a consistent Doman Method program with him in the months immediately following the Course. Soon after, parents received an individualized integrative treatment plan at their appointment at Doman International. This included plans for physical, respiratory, cognitive development and an ideal nutrition plan.
At his most recent evaluation at Doman International, Toshan’s parents were proud to share that he has started roller skating! In the video, he moves with great balance and coordination while perfectly following his coach’s instructions.
Toshan’s father serves in the defense forces and is especially proud of how well Toshan can swing on monkey bars. Toshan also does cycling, and is excelling at other physical activities as well as his peers.
Doman Method programs have helped Toshan develop great stamina and endurance. His physical achievements have been accompanied by decrease in his hyperactivity and better social interaction.
We are so happy to celebrate Toshan’s achievements!
